No these are not rack pulls!  This is my final heavy week before deadheading next week so I wanted to push it a little heavy.  I was supposed to do two singles with minimum velocity of .16m/s but for some reason had it stuck in my head that I needed to pull a heavy double.  But in the end its the same reps... unfortannly ended up doing a bit more than anticipated.

First I loaded 935 on the bar for my double... but it felt so good I trippled it.  And in all reality the number that I had stuck in my head was 950x2... so I loaded the bar to 960 of course.

Velocity was .14m/s so I wasn't to far off the plan in the end.

One more heavy pull off 3" blocks later this week and its time to deload.

Lots of questions about my bodyweight on social media.  Weighed 262.8 this morning before heading in for this session.

Deadlifted 960x2 after hitting 935x3 off the floor today. In fact I’ve been going over 900lbs on the deadlift twice a week for the last 3 weeks, although one of those sessions is off 3” blocks. But things felt good today so I went for it. Next week is deload week. Getting closer to stage one of the #GrandGoals plan!
