Usually people first get their feet wet in the gym. We’ve all been there - someone comes in discussing how he gained all this strength in the past couple weeks and now you’ve got people asking questions. I even know a few guys who bought protein powder laced with the stuff… they had no idea. They were beyond disappointed when they found out. Soon enough the FDA started cracking down on manufacturers who would do such a thing. Oh well… you live and learn.
If you choose to dive down that rabbit hole, make sure EVERYTHING ELSE is on point – diet, training, and sleep. In my research the first two weeks or so are all placebo, branched chain amino acids really start to kick in when you take them multiple times a day, every day.
