Live Learn Pass on in 2020

The past week has been full of uncertainty, and it seems like it’s going to be this way for some time. ⁣

I will post more on this later, as uncertainty doesn’t have to mean terrible. Different, yes. Bleak, no.⁣

With many of us now working from home, it’s very easy to fall down news media rabbit holes. I encourage you not to do so. We live in a great time when we can all have access to experts and source materials that are free of “opinions”. It takes less time to absorb this than many will spend on headlines all day long.⁣

Note that I’m not saying this is over- or under-blown — just not to fall victim to the time and stress trap of media news. Control those things, you can and deal with the ones you can’t as they present themselves. Easier said than done, I know. ⁣

Many people know uncertainty very well, so their ability to handle it will be better than others'. Many don’t handle it as well (and may not know how), so now is not the time to pass judgment on them; their way of handling things might be the only way they know. ⁣

Instead of being judgmental, be there to help them live through this so they can learn from it and be able to help others down the line.
