The intensity at the gym was kind of low this morning.  Half the lights were on, the music was soft easy listening from when I was brushing my teeth at home, it was the beginning of a weather condition known here in California as "June Gloom", which means we have a marine layer that hangs in until about 10:00 sometimes 11:00 AM making it look like it's going to rain, but in fact doesn't (we need it).

Just as one of my favorite gym goers was getting warmed up to bench a young buck who is a HOOT comes in to get started as well.  They affectionately call each other "Old Fat Guy" and "Young Fat Guy" or "OFG" and "YFG".

It took roughly six seconds for these two to get under each others skin.  It's like giving a mongoose a stick to poke at the cobra with.  IT WAS GLORIOUS!  Sometimes all I need to do, is re arrange the groupings and the dynamics of the entire day will change.

Once these two were at it, and just short of throwing haymakers at each other, the music got changed, the volume went up, and the morning FLEW by.

I think the line of the day, was my very own when they brought up the age difference thing.  YFG was barking to add another plate while the OFG was taking caution with a temperamental pec.  I said (and I Tweeted it this morning)  "Age is inevitable, AWESOME is a choice".

Someone make a T shirt...PLEASE?
