Today is Make Your Dream Come True Day, a perfect day to share with you two dreams that, without you, wouldn't be possible. Thanks to your support and donations, we were able to raise enough money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, Central Ohio Region to send Emily and her family to an Alaskan Dog Race AND we also raised enough for Kobie to meet his favorite college football team.

Emily

  • My wish is to: Attend an Alaskan Dog Race
  • Age: 13 years
  • Condition: Ewing Sarcoma
  • Hometown: Mt. Sterling, OH
  • Siblings: Johnathon (15), Paige (20), Matthew (18)

Emily is battling Ewing Sarcoma, a tumor that arises primarily in the bone and soft tissue. Thirteen-year-old has already endured many treatments, doctor and hospital visits.

The pain and uncertainty of a life-threatening medical condition can be exhausting for the entire family. It is challenging to plan vacations and holiday celebrations because of medical needs, financial issues, and time constraints.

When Make-A-Wish® Volunteers asked Emily “What is your wish?” she knew exactly what she wanted, to travel to Alaska and attend the trail sled dog races with her family.

On their wish trip, Emily, her parents, and siblings will be able to enjoy the excitement and thrill of the dog races together.

Kobie

  • My wish is to: Meet my favorite college football team
  • Age: 9 years
  • Condition: Cerebral Palsy with seizures
  • Hometown: Richwood, Ohio
  • Siblings: Laythyn 9

Kobie loves watching cartoons, playing games on his Playstation and cheering on his favorite college football team! You wouldn’t know by the constant smile on his face, but Kobie has been battling a life-threatening medical condition.

Kobie was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy with seizures in 2001. Since then he has endured many treatments and medications to help fight his condition.

When Make-A-Wish® volunteers visited Kobie, he knew exactly what he wanted as his one true wish. Kobie wished to meet his favorite Columbus College Football Team and attend one of their games!

Kobie and his family are looking forward to their special experience which will be happening next fall.

Once again we'd like thank each and every one of you for making this happen. It is because of you these kids get an experience of a lifetime. Thank you.
