I knew when I drew the training schedule out for this training cycle I circled this week in my mind. This would be the most weight that I have ever taken in briefs in my life and it would definitely challenge me.

All of my sets with 800 pounds went smooth and fast. But after my 3 works sets, the original plan was to take 900 pounds with a green band for a single. I just did't feel at this moment that I was ready for that type of weight in just briefs with just a green band. So I made an executive decision on the fly and changed it to an orange band. After all said and done, and I look back on this, I think that was the best decision and I still built confidence and the most important thing is that I didnt get hurt so win win all the way around.

We will starting our deload week next week which will consist with me not being in the gym all week due to many prior obligations that we have ahead of us. I am OK with this though, life has to come first and with life comes priorities. And with the timing of these priorities it will give my body a much needed break.
