To say this weekend was amazing is an absolute understatement. I got to train and see a bunch of my Elitefts teammates as well as listen and speak to the man whose book I first read when getting into powerlifting, Jim Wendler. The best part of the weekend was when I was able to talk to Jim one on one after his seminar. I asked him, "Were there ever points in your powerlifting career where you just couldn't give two shits about training?" He replied, "Absolutely." He then went on to explain fleeting motivation to me and how motivation itself is temporary. He told me how during the times that you have no motivation, discipline comes into play more than ever. The discipline of why you do what you do needs to kick in. Whether you want to be there or not, you do it because you shouldn't be anywhere else in that moment than the gym. It's just as much a part of you as your arms or legs. I asked Jim this question simply because after my last meet, it took me two weeks to crawl back into the gym. I didn't want to go AT ALL...and I LOVE training. His words really resonated with me those next couple days (and still do).

Anyways, during this weekend I basically decided to just go heavy as fuck squatting in my briefs as well as testing my raw bench. I tried for a PR squat of 750 in briefs on Saturday, which I failed. On Sunday I hit a PR raw bench of 410. Then just did a bunch of accessory work after. Here was the breakdown-
