My first National meet I competed at 220 in the 1986 USPF Jr Nationals. It started out as an A-Okay day that turned into a great day. As you can see, it was the biggest line up of lifters in one class that I have ever seen or competed against. They were all very competitive. Charlie Driscoll pulling 854 with ease was the highlight of the meet. We talked about that forever. It was amazing pull by Charlie who pulled sumo. He had that cool head ban on. What an incredible meet. I will never forget that one.
