“Everyone must go through something analogous to a conversion, conversion to an idea, a thought, a desire, a dream, a vision- without vision people perish.” -Dorothy Day
Having a vision is this sport and in life is key to making sure you live it out on your terms and within your morals. Far too often people become enamored by others and they let that lead their vision, by derailing like this means you don't have full confidence in who you are and what your vision is. The best way to make sure you stay on the path is to constantly challenge it if you can challenge your ideas and still come back to them that solidifies things more and more. This will also help you clarify a lot of things in your life. Surrounding yourself with yes men or trying to live vicariously through others through social media is a downward spiral that will only lead to failure and pain. Find your vision and don't let others cause you to stray from it.
