I’ve got a quick video for you today from my site tpsmethod.com on how to properly set up chains for powerlifting. Using chains is one of the best ways to build your squat, bench press and deadlift because they accommodate your strength curve. Chains are Accommodating Resistance, and that means that using them as shown in the video, the weight will be lighter at the bottom where you are weaker and heavier at the top where you are strong(er). This accommodation builds strength and speed. Chains also provide a level of instability that forces you to adapt and get tighter.

I can go on and on about the benefits of chains, but it’s been written about a million times. Setting them up properly is critical! This video show you how. Enjoy.
