I have to be honest, doing everything right with your diet and exercise for the week and not dropping weight is a real m'fer! That said, this isn't my first rodeo. Operation Be Less Fat has been a seven year odyssey, and I have seen it all.

In the past, I'd be really pissed. Sometimes it would even lead me to do something really counterproductive...overeat. It's crazy how not losing weight can cause someone to do the unthinkable, eat more. However, it happens more than you'd think. It's like a petulant child throwing a tantrum. "Well if you are not going to work diet, I'll show you." Yeah, not a good idea.

I have said this before, but it's worth repeating, a fork in the road does not mean a spoon in the mouth. Things like this really resonate with me. Plus, I know weight loss is not linear. I don't need to panic and change anything.

This post might be nothing revolutionary, but it's part of my journey. I know many of you out there are on the same quest to be less fat. I need you to know it's not easy for me either. I suffer through the same ups and downs that you do. Just stay the course when you struggle because that's what successful people do.
