Summit Schedule

Friday, April 26th, 2019, will consist of six hour-long presentations, free lunch, and a speaker Q&A panel.

By the hour:

  • 8-9 a.m. — Summit Check-In at elitefts Headquarters
  • 9-9:10 a.m. — Welcome & Opening Remarks
  • 9:10-10:10 a.m. — Managing Training Stressors with Buddy Morris
  • 10:20-11:20 a.m. — 10 Things I Wish I’d Known: In Business & In Life with Alwyn Cosgrove
  • 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. — Nutrition & Supplementation Considerations for Athletes with Eric Serrano
  • 12:30-1:30 p.m. — Break for Lunch (included for all attendees)
  • 1:40-2:40 p.m. — Building Your Brand with Joe Bennett
  • 2:50-3:50 p.m. — Evaluation & Treatment of Weightlifting Injuries in Athletes with Ken Kinakin
  • 4-5 p.m. — Evolution of Training Methods & Perspectives with JL Holdsworth
  • 5:10-6:10 p.m. — Speaker Panel Q&A
  • 6:10-6:30 p.m. — Closing Remarks with Dave Tate

Saturday, April 27th, 2019, will consist of small group workshops and roundtables. Sessions will be two rounds of two-hour hands-on training, conversations, and in-depth education with speakers. Most roundtables and workshops will be limited to a smaller group (less than 25 attendees per group) for a more personal experience with speakers. Depending on the topic, some workshops will have a limit as low as 10 attendees.

After registration, attendees will receive an email with more information on how to sign up for their desired roundtables and workshops, which are on a first-come, first-serve basis. We highly encourage early registration. Attendees will select two workshops and/or roundtables from the following list:

  • Workshop 2: Perfect Your Deadlift & Squat Technique Workshop with Buddy Morris & Julia Ladewski

  • Workshop 5: Powerlifting 101 Workshop with Dave Tate
  • Roundtable 1: Nutrition and Supplementation for Athletes Roundtable Discussion with Eric Serrano
  • Roundtable 2: Building Your Personal Training Business Roundtable with Alwyn Cosgrove

Sunday, April 28th, 2019, consists of an open gym session. Hybrid Performance Group will also be offering their services on-site for free at the elitefts Compound.

Registration

Early Bird Registration: $299. This option includes attendance to the Strong(er) Sports Training & Success Summit, and a Summit T-shirt. Early Bird Registration will end on February 28th, 2019.

VIP Registration: $399. This new option is limited to only 20 attendees, so act fast. This option includes attendance to the Strong(er) Sports Training Success Summit, VIP dinner invitation with the speakers and elitefts staff on Saturday night, private open gym training at the S5 Compound on Sunday, and a Summit T-shirt.

Other travel considerations: London, Ohio, is approximately 42 minutes from the Columbus International (CMH) Airport. Rideshares such as Uber will take you to London, but Uber does not pick up from London. If you are flying in, we highly suggest renting a car for the weekend or carpooling to secure your transportation needs.
