Happy New Year to Everyone! May 2017 bring you joy and happiness all year round.

Again we are lucky enough to have a home gym so on a holiday we can still train. Today's New Years Day training was epic. Also lucky enough to have team members willing to come out and help spot and load our heavy squatters prepping for a meet, even though it's New Years Day. Some came with hang overs but hey, they came, they showed up and that means more than anything to Ken and I to know we can count on our team when needed the most. So thank you to all who showed up today and helped out, we sincerely appreciate it!

Now, back to my training, so still breaking in this bad ass suit of mine. It's a work in progress but it's finally sinking in. Nobody said it was going to be easy, if it was easy I probably wouldn't do it.

GHR WARMUPS X 20

BELT SQUAT WARMUPS X 10

DEADLIFTS WARMUP 256 LBS X 2/2

SUITED DEADLIFTS

256 LBS X 2

346 LBS X 1/1/1/1/1

396 LBS X 1/1/1/1 (really trying to work on my technique and this suit thing but the weight felt easy)

That is a total of 4,850 lbs in pulls. Explains the fatigue big time!

SEATED KETTLEBELL SHRUGS WITH HOLD

24 KG X 10/10/10/10

STANDING KETTLEBELL SHRUGS WITH HOLD

24 KG X 10/10/10/10 (My traps need to grow more so I can live up to my nick name)

BELT SQUATS (Glute activation)

140 Lbs x 10/10/10

BANDED GHR'S

20/15/15/15 (I could only do 15 reps on my last few sets)

Wow what a session, even wrapping Ken's knees was a workout !

I will be ready for that main stage in 9 weeks!
