Events @ BSG

Today is my first and possibly last day to try to train events for the Beer City Brawl in 2 weeks. This is due to the fact that I work both days next weekend at the hospital the whole time that the gym is open. I might be able to squeeze it in before or after, but that will be a game time decision.

Keg Carry and Load (to 44" platform)

setup - This involved moving around a lot of kegs

2x40' x 240 - Carry only

30' x 240

20' x 260

30'x240, 20'x260

40'x200, 30'x240, 20'x260

40'x180, 30'x200, 20'x240, 10'x260

This was the first time I trained with more than 1 keg and I am in awful shape in terms of my conditioning, but at least I was able to do 4 kegs, but my comp weights are a lot heavi(er).

Frame Carry (drop and repick at 40')

80'x200

80'x290

80'x380

80'x470

80'x520

80'x610

I was fading fast today so I jumped up 90 lbs at the end even though I was planning to do a shorter run with 570 between full runs at 520 and 610. Good news is I didn't drop it, but bad news is the second 40' after the drop and repick was way slower than the first 40'.
