Couldn't miss the chance to train the frist weekend ever in the brand new Elitefts S5 Compound. I'm sure there will be 100 changes to it over the years, so it will be awesome to see it evolve.

All the weekend regulars were there, plus a surprise visit from Swede, which was pretty cool to train with him. I've only talked to him a few seconds in the past. After training with him and talking with him I see why he was powerlifting watch coach of the year. He is an extremely smart guy.

After a tour of the facility we benched with chains.

Bench Press: Worked up to doubles at 315 and started adding chains. Singles @ 315 and added 1 chain per side up to 7 chains.

I went back and looked and a year ago I pressed 315 x 8 chains per side, so I jumped to 325x8 chains per side and missed it at lockout.

Accessory work:

I dropped to 225 plus 4 chains per side and hit 3x10 close grip. Dumbbell Press 3x20 at 70lbs 3x10 seated rows - heavy.

The new facility is incredible. If you ever get a chance to visit/train, take advantage of it!
