I never thought I would have a log titled front squats, but here we are. I usually wait until I get to the gym to see what is planned for the day just to keep me on my toes. Front squats were always used as a supplemental movement but never a main movement. I don't think I've ever attempted more than 155lbs (maybe); mobility was an issue, the fact that I sucked at them was an issue, but what better excuse to keep them rotated in a training cycle (said no one ever).

Front squats - max out

worked up to:

185lbs x 3, 205 x 3, 225 x 1

As you can tell, I was dreading every second. Felt really heavy and just hoped for the best when I squatted. I was surprised how fast, all things considering, it came up. I was super pumped about it!

Leg Press 3-5 x 10

Spoto Presses 95lbs 5 x 5

Band resisted KB deads 4 x 10
