Summer is upon us and like usual, my training intensifies and I can spend more time in the gym. I have my plate full with business goals and things to accomplish on that end. Mattie has restructured my training a bit and there is not officially an "event" day at this point. I am in the early stages of my prep for Pro Women's Worlds in late October and am still eagerly awaiting the events to be listed so I can develop a more thorough plan.

From June 30, 2016

Rolling/Mobility

Stir The Pot 3x8 Deficit DL All Double Overhand: 135, 3x5 240, 1x3 300, 2x5 Mixed Grip 300, 3x5

18" Rack Lock Outs 315, 1x2 365-1x5 405-1x1 Disappointed here. This should be a non issue but clearly it is.

Grippers T - 3x10 COC 2 - 1x2

GHR - 3x8

Keg runs were on the program. This is the second week in a row I have missed them. I even sped up my training more than usual and still was short on time. A group was starting.

Important Thoughts:

-I have some serious work to do on the bottom end of my DL.

-Everything felt good and smooth.

-Coming into a new training cycle after a competition feels like starting a 1000 mile journey after just finishing one. June 11's comp is long gone in my rear view mirror. Now I am picking up a new passenger and there is a long road of travel waiting for us.
