I had a great day of benching on Monday. I've been really increasing my calories and it seems to be helping a lot with overall strength and energy. The plan was to do 170x(6-8)x3 and I was able to do 8 reps on each set with more in the tank. On the first round of 170x8 I had some trouble grooving the bar towards the end of the set. I was able to reset my shoulders and finish without too much trouble. All in all, I'm really pleased with this training session, and I feel like I have my mojo back!
