8/19 - DL Day

4" Sumo Block Pulls Worked up to 725 for 3

- I feel like a dickhead for going this heavy so soon after a meet, but I got the itch to start hitting sumo block pulls and establish a baseline for where I need to be. Sumo block pulls, based on numerous strong lifter's I've talked to, are going to be a staple for me in my quest for glute glory. These felt surprisingly natural for me once I got my glutes firing in unison. At the beginning, they were firing in what felt like an incomplete contraction, but straightened out towards the end.

RDL's Against Band Tension 3 sets of 8 reps, working up to 385 + a choked average band around my waist. These are hard as hell! Thank you Marshall Johnson for showing me these.

Single Leg Kettlebell RDL Did 3 sets of 10 with a 70 something lb KB. These were a bit more difficult to balance compared to the DB RDL's I've done.

CSR 4 sets 10 reps

GHR 4 sets of 12, 10, 10, 8 reps with ascending band tension - 1 mini band, 2 mini bands, 3 mini bands, 3 mini bands respectively.
