Summer is upon us and like usual, my training intensifies and I can spend more time in the gym. I have my plate full with business goals and things to accomplish on that end. Mattie has restructured my training a bit and there is not officially an "event" day at this point. I am in the early stages of my prep for Pro Women's Worlds in late October and am still eagerly awaiting the events to be listed so I can develop a more thorough plan.

Today was the day I've been waiting on, events were listed for Pro Women's Worlds in Louisville, KY in October.

They are:

Events:

XPC Max Deadlift

Viking Press for Reps - 200 lbs

Farmer’s Walk - 200 lbs

Husa/Keg Medley - 160/150

Atlas Stones - 175,205,220,240

This is a two day contest and the highest deadlift will be added to the USS pool. At the end of the year, the highest DL earns a spot at XPC 21 Deadlift Salute at the Arnold in 2016.

I gotta tell you, I am a bit disappointed. The actual moving events are pretty light and not totally captivating my attention. I LOVED nationals events so, so much because they were different, exciting and challenging. Ultimately that's why I decided to compete at nationals, the events made it look like a good time! While not all the information is out yet concerning event specifics, I am sorta bummed. At this point I am going to sit on a decision but target my training towards this. Funny thing is, the last two weeks were great training for this competition.
