This meet had some very lofty goals attached to it, and while I may have fallen short of them, I am still incredibly happy with my performance!

Warm ups for squats had me worried because everything felt heavy. I was unsure how the day was going to go, but stayed the course and kept my opener at 810. I hit my last warmup of 765 and was certain I'd be able to hit my opener at the very least.

I took the platform and I hit for 3 white lights. My next attempt at 854 was a GRIND, but again, 3 white lights. I missed 874 on strength after this.

Bench felt amazing as it had all prep and I smoked my opener at 484. My next attemp at 512 was strong, but not extremely fast. I know I can grind out benches, so I called for 523 on my next attempt. I pressed the weight and was ecstatic, but upon seeing the lights, I was called 2-1 red and no lift due to up and down movement.

Deadlifts were a shit show. My grip felt terrible in the warmup room, but I successfully hit my opener at 711. I thank God I chose to open light because I subsequently missed 751 on grip twice in a row.

While I may not have had the day I wanted I still took first overall and won $2,500. I also hadthe pleasure of watching my wife destroy her previous PRs and hit an 1152lb total in sleeves at 181! She is going to be a FORCE in the future, and I'm certain she works harder than myself. She's fun as hell to watch and I will link her meet report below.
