I'm unable to get into my primary physician until 05.08.17 so I called the orthopedic surgeon who performed my back surgery in 2011. He was able to get me in this morning. He had an z-ray taken and did a short physical exam. He methylprednisolone and said if after 2 weeks the pain continued to make a follow up appointment. I'm optimistic that the cause is just some inflammation that this short treatment will take care of.
