These are your questions. You asked—we answered.

Steve: Our next question is from Jake Begs, and he asks, "Dave, if you could do anything career-wise outside of the fitness realm, what would it be?"

Dave: Um...this is all I've ever done...since I was 12 years old. So I've never really considered that question at all, so I guess if I was to...if I was to think—you know, if everything was to fall apart, and I had to do something for work, I don't know if I would want to go back to personal training again. Not that I didn't like it, I just, I don't think that...at my stage of life I don't think that's really what I want to do. Um, I would probably want to be...I'm trying to think of a politically correct way to say this without getting absolutely butchered. I'd want to be a teacher, but I would n0t want to be a public teacher because I'd want to be a special education teacher. Because my son does have autism, and I see the difference that good teachers can make. I haven't seen that difference, in my own personal opinion, in the public school environment, and mainly because not that the teacher's don't care—they're strapped. They're strapped by administration, they're strapped by a lot of different things, which I think—from what I saw—is actually doing more damage than good. Which is why I'm trying to select my words very carefully because I'm sure there are good administrations and there are good teachers. I would work for a private school that focused on that. You know, so I wouldn't have to deal with that bullshit and could actually help the kids. You know, I feel that a lot of these kids that are on the spectrum are extremely intelligent. I think they are...and I have a biased opinion obviously...I think they are game changers when it comes to our future because you've got kids whose mind, on one side, is firing unlike anybody else—any other normal type human. Then, on the other side it's under-firing. So the behaviors are a little off. Okay, they're going to wear a Sponge Bob outfit...whatever they're going to do. That's a little off. But over here—it's incredible. Alright, so take what's incredible and put people to help guide those, and I think that's where we're going to find a lot of the answers to a lot of the problems we're going to face as a society is from that group. And I think that we're already seeing this now because of, you know, you look at the history of some of the great people who have changed our country over the past ten years, and they all fall back to, "well, this guy had dyslexia," "this guy had a learning disability," you know, they're saying that Zuckerberg could potentially have Asperger's. You know, all these people, look at what they've done. Because they can focus and stay focused and stay focused and stay focused beyond what any normal person can do. So I would love to be, if I could...that's what I would do. That's what I would be a part of...if I had to. And maybe someday I will be even a bigger part of that.
