Erik Eggers graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in finance. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has over 30 years of experience in resistance training. In competitive powerlifting, Erik has held Connecticut state records in the International and American Powerlifting Associations and Gene Rychlak’s Revolution Powerlifting Syndicate. Erik founded Beast Training, a warehouse strength and conditioning facility located in Trumbull, Connecticut, where he served as its strength and conditioning coordinator from 2010 to 2013. Erik now resides in the Dallas, Texas, area. In addition to training, he enjoys writing horror fiction and is an avid reader, particularly favoring the works of Stephen King and Chuck Palahniuk.
