110 Weeks ago I walked out to my Atlas Stones and decided that I would start scratching on an itch that I'd been having for a long time. Weightlifting wasn't making me happy and Powerlifting just isn't DEEP into my blood. I was several months deep into chemotherapy and my body and mind needed something fresh. I needed to go back to something familiar.

I can't remember missing my 365 lbs stone so warm ups would have been:
190 x 1
230 x 1
285 x 1
365 x 1

Except something happened when I went UP with the 365 stone. My bicep popped and I lost control of the stone. And then pain. I had what I believed to be a strain/pull in my bicep that would later end up being diagnosed as a proximal bicep tear (followed by a lat tear, tricep tear, pec tear, etc...).

Notice the holes in both biceps!

I have made many MANY attempts at this 365 stone over the last couple of years and most of the time was spent not being able to break it off the ground. The last several months I've been strong off the ground but unable to hit the height of my platform. After a couple of foot adjustments (and more to come) the sucker went up there. Ugly...but it went up there.

I Can't Be Stopped!
