I am quite surprised to see changes so quickly.  Admittedly, I did take almost 2 full weeks off at the end of December to rest everything and enjoy time around the Holidays.  So, I would obviously look and feel better after 2 weeks back to training.  It's just different in that I seem to losing body fat quite easily vs. in the past.  I have no idea whether this will continue or for how long but I will ride it out for now.

I am roughly 2100 calories right now and for anyone that has followed my dieting in the past, they know that I need very low calories as I get deeper and deeper into prep.  2100 is a bit high for me so I am surprised at the changes already.

6 meals per day without a lot of carbs (some but not much) and additional fat with about 3 of my 6 meals.  Eating beef once a day and also having 1 cup of non-fat greek yogurt, pre-workout, as well.

Cardio is only 5 sessions at 30 minutes but I am not used to this due to not doing any cardio the last few months.

I am in love with this training split.  4 days is so much nicer psychologically because I have what seems to be less work to do each workout.  Starting with abs every workout is a nice change, as well, and leg days is even better because I can simply hammer legs for the entire session.  This has allowed me to add in some adductor/abductor work and focus on glute work, too.

In 2 weeks I am down 7 pounds.  Of course, some of that is water but this is a true 7 pounds in that I am not going off of my weight the day I started prep but my weight when I stopped training for 2 weeks over the Holidays.   I am also strong than 2 weeks ago so things are going well at this early stage.

Mrs. Skip is getting into a rhythm, too, and doing quite well.  Her strength is the highest I have ever seen it and I will be sure to do frequent videos of us both training starting in a couple of weeks.  She isn't powerlifter strong or anything like that but she is a lot stronger than usual and keep in mind she hasn't competed since 08 and has been on and off with her training for the last few years until buckling down again for this year.

Looking forward to the Skipload this weekend but honestly not hungry at this point much, at all.  Of course, I rarely get hungry, anyway.  You gotta be a little off to do this.  🙂
