Okay, it was a play on words.  I'm not doing a show BUT ... I AM 5 weeks from filming the training footage for the TRTbodybuilding/Longevity2 DVD.   I don't need to be in contest shape for the training footage but I do want to be sure that I am in the best shape possible so I have made some changes as of this week to be ready.

The training footage is the most in depth of all of the footage for the DVD due to so many different angles, lighting issues due to gym lighting and the most editing of the entire DVD.  Once this footage is done the rest is going to be a breeze.   We plan to have the DVD done or its final editing stages in September for a late September release or into October.

As I have touched on in past coaching logs, I allowed my weight to come up some as I cut all cardio and just wanted to fill out a bit but keep body fat levels pretty much constant - as they were before I started to fill out.  I am pretty close to the same body fat levels but I am holding so much water from the MK677 that I was getting a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to see a small body fat increase if I did actually have one.  At that point I basically had the option of stopping the MK which I really didn't want to do because it has been working so well or be cautious and cutting back down just a little bit by cutting some calories and adding some cardio.  I opted for the latter.

I am certainly not doing a ton of cardio - 30 minutes 5 times a week but going from none to this cardio load should yield a nice change.  I also have cut a small amount of fat out of my diet and some carbs but I am also going to cut my Skipload from starting Saturday nights to only going for 10 hours on Sunday.  To do this I will get up on Sundays and fast for about 4 hours before starting my Skipload and that should take me pretty close to bedtime as I am not usually up as late on Sunday nights as I am the rest of the week.

I also have changed up a lot of my carb intake to include carbs from fresh mushrooms, eggplant and some sweet potato.

Again, to reiterate:  I am not looking to get shredded but rather to find a good balance between being lean and in great shape along with being full enough to look good.  If I had to put a number on it I would say roughly 5 pounds or so.  In 5 weeks, that is pretty much a breeze.

Training will stay at 4 days as I like how it is going right now.  Knees are still achy but Boswellia Extract is on its way and when I have used this in the past I have had none of these issues so this time I will not stop taking it even after my knees feel better.  My knees were slightly better yesterday for legs than last week but they still take FOREVER to warm up.

I head off to ABQ Friday morning for a show this weekend and will be back on Father's Day so my training week is cut short by one workout this week.  Otherwise, everything is going very well.
