An update on my Special Olympic athlete, CJ Piantieri

The earliest CJ will be competing again is in July, so we’re technically in what would be considered off season training. Although the majority of my training is based off of a gradually increasing ROM (The M2 Method ), CJ does better training through a full ROM with basic periodization rotating through reps of 5, 4, 3, 2 (when not preparing for a meet). This week was doubles and he worked up to 295 for a double on deadlifts.
