Due to my joint issues one of my primary pressing movements is a decline dumbbell press. The decline reduces shoulder stress while increasing pec recruitment (I remember seeing this on emg results years ago). Essentially, the greater the incline the more the pressure shifts to your shoulders and vice versa. Since we don’t have a decline in the dumbbell area at Orlando Barbell I use one of the deadlift blocks to prop a bench up which works perfectly.
I have 2 months and counting until I can get my stem cell therapy. I hope that it corrects my autoimmune issues, but at the very least it will allow my right shoulder to regenerate the lost cartilage. I look forward to being able to help provide advice to others who are interested in stem cell therapy and the many potential healing benefits.
