Did more program writing today and loaded up on Monster.  Today was a good day.

  • FBB Bench Warm-up 3x5-10
  • DB Snatch 2x10 each
  • Pull-aparts 50
  • FBB Bench 165x5, 185x5, 205x5, 225x5, 245x5, 265x5, 245x5, 225x5
  • Pull-ups 5x5 w/pause
  • Hammer Row 2x20 w/pause
  • Side Raises 25
  • DB Curls 50

So, I felt like going off the reservation today.  Decided to work up on Bench instead following the FSL.  I was feeling dangerous.

I did my rows and pull-ups with a 1 second pause at the top and 3 second eccentric (down phase for the uninitiated).  This was a bad choice.  It lit me up.  I will probably stick with this until I get sick of it.

One more week and I'll get my new workout from Wendler.  Looking forward to a little change up.
