I really dislike reps. I'll take a Dynamic Effort session of 10 sets of 2 with 45 sec rest between sets before I'll do sets of 10 BUT...I know that I'm terrible at it and that I need it long term. In hindsight I look back at what set me up for my biggest all time Box Squat of 957 and I'd done a lot of 10's, 8's, 7's, 6's, etc...in the process leading up to a peak.
So...freaking higher reps!
