- Was under a lot of stress and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis.  I’m not a fan of doctors and put off going for about a year from when I started having symptoms.

- Was prescribed Prednisone, Imuran, Pentosa, Plaquenil, and maybe more that I can’t remember.  What I do remember is that none of them helped.  Then I was put on a clinical trial for a biologic, but my liver enzymes shot up too high and they took me off of it.  Then I was placed on an assistance program for Humira. This is when everything went to shit. Humira does work for some people, but it was horrible for me. Up until this point I very rarely had joint pain.  After I started Humira it was constant, and, although the GI doctor wouldn’t admit it, the Humira put me into heart failure. It caused crazy inflammation all over my entire body, including my heart. Now I was going to a GI doctor, a Rheumatologist, a Cardiologist and a Hematologist and I once again realized why I don’t like going to doctors.

- I decided to take myself off all the meds except for Sulfasalazine, low dose Naltrexone (LDN) and I half the Metoprolol (beta blocker).

- Wrote and began selling the Minimalist/M2 Equipped Powerlifting Method eBook

- Spent my life savings on a stem cell treatment in South Florida that unfortunately didn’t work.

- Had Hemicap shoulder replacement since my joint got to a point where I couldn’t raise my arm past parallel with the ground.  I still believe this was induced by the Humira causing joint inflammation, especially since I never had any serious joint issues prior to this.

- Started BJJ to have something to improve on and have adjusted my strength training accordingly

- Still training BJJ 3xs/week and am lifting 3xs/week
