Sometimes the simplest ideas yield the greatest results.

For years I've worked to design equipment ideal to benefit lifters on a budget with limited space. This time my plan was to design the most beneficial and versatile strength training tool possible that would improve both strength and technique on multiple exercises. After much trial and error, the Powerloop was created. The Powerloop’s primary purpose is for scapular retraction on the bench press. The Powerloop will help stabilize the shoulder joint which could help to prevent injury and help to emphasize the proper muscles that should be utilized for the bench press (primarily the pecs, anterior delts, and triceps). It could also allow for better recruitment of the latissimus dorsi (the lats). The Powerloop is placed around your wrists, pulled until taught, then used to keep your upper back tight after you have stretched it out to achieve your desired grip.

The Powerloop can also help utilize scapular retraction by placing it around your wrists or knees, pulling it taught, grabbing the bar or handle of the exercise being performed and then performing other exercises such: Squats, Shoulder press, Wide grip pulldowns, Wide grip rows, or any exercise in which a wide grip is used.

The Powerloop could also be used entirely on its own to perform exercises to help with shoulder mobility such as: Pull-aparts, Shoulder dislocations, and wall crawls

The Powerloop can also be used to help force the knees out while squatting as well as for mobility warm ups: Walking Hip Abduction, Hip Adduction and Hip Abduction

There are no other products on the market specifically for this purpose.

The Powerloop should be on sale here on Elitefts starting tomorrow!
