I sometimes struggle to write coaching logs when what has happened the previous weeks seems so uneventful or even boring. However, it occurred to me that it is the uneventful weeks - the consistent, almost monotonous banging away at the weights - that makes for really good progress.
Not much that anyone will find all that exciting this week but I am quite happy and excited because progress is ... well ... freakin' exciting - at least to the person who is progressing. lol
I have not made any changes to my diet and my scale weight is hanging around 213 ish after I drop water from the Skipload. Very full and still as tight as I was under 200 but just not emaciated anymore. I keep checking my waist size but it is staying the same as it was under 200 and I rarely feel bloated in the midsection unless it is either on the Skipload day or the day after. Otherwise, I am very happy with this current look.
Strength is awesome and the only thing I can really attribute it to is the mk677. I still have no lethargy from it and even though it does make me hold water, I don't feel that my condition is suffering due to using it. It has almost been a month using it and I anticipate that I will continue using it for at least a few months.
The carnitine is still in the plan and I feel it is continuing to work well. I am not having huge Skiploads due to my hunger not being what it was while dieting and I am certainly not depleted so the hunger not being all that bad is to be expected. I usually only eat about 3 times for the day while Skiploading. Remember, Skiploads in the off season will tend to be much smaller than Skiploads while dieting to get low body fat levels. This is entirely related to how depleted you are.
The change to my training schedule is awesome. I was a little anxious thinking I might hate the 4 day a week structure but I love it. My recovery is great right now so training legs twice a week or chest and back twice a week is no problem as I am usually not sore and strength is climbing.
My back is holding quite well and I have had no issues, at all. Seeing the Chiro every 2 weeks religiously and with the exception of this last week I am getting my stretching in without any problem. This week has been crazy busy so I have been pressed for time and passed on stretching twice.
So, basically, not much to report this week. 🙂
Think of the most obvious answer and that is what the SCGS compound is.
Skip, I completely understand and respect your decision not to explicitly say it.
