I competed in NPC Junior Nationals on June 12-13. I came in with a much bigger and leaner package than years past. Since July we have slowly transitioned from a bodybuilding split to more of a powerlifting/strength focus, while still hitting lots of volume to build mass. Scott Paltos has been doing my programming since March. We've added quite a bit of muscle and are continuing to work some technical things with my raw lifts. Raw meet in early May!!!

Things are getting busy again... again? Oh wait, not sure they ever really slow down.  But with baseball and softball starting, we've been running around like crazy. Need to get through April... ok, ok, need to just get through one day at a time.

My hip has been feeling a LOT better.  I've been warming up well before most of my sessions and the semi-regular soft tissue work seems to helping too... helping all parts of my body as I typically get my back and lats worked on too.

First couple days of the week had some mental blocks going on, but powered through in training and the moderate benches on Monday still turned out pretty good.  Tuesday was a blessing. Everything fell back into place. I found my happy spot and that was able to help me refocus. Wednesday was back day... yep, had to shuffle a few things around for this week, but Scott is good about making it work. Still on track with the bigs and heavies.
