I competed in NPC Junior Nationals on June 12-13, 2015. I came in with a much bigger and leaner package than years past. Since July we have slowly transitioned from a bodybuilding split to more of a powerlifting/strength focus, while still hitting lots of volume to build mass. Scott Paltos has been doing my programming since March. We've added quite a bit of muscle and are continuing to work some technical things with my raw lifts. Raw meet in May 7th!!!

Welp... heaviest bench day. I was a little nervous going into today. Sometimes when the weight gets on the bar, I just mentally screw myself by thinking too much. But today, I was much more confident in hitting this number. I have been hitting 180 consistently, AND FAST, for the past few weeks, so I knew I could hit this solid, just a matter of not screwing up technically.

Of course this week and next week are crazy busy with work, added coaching hours and the handful of in-person clients I just picked up. Now that everyone local sees that I'm back to training people, it's been an influx... which is pretty cool, just makes for balancing them with my coaching hours, kids practices and activities, and the rest of life.

Still a few other things going on in the background that are steady and moving along. Just being patient... and keeping my head in a good place. It's easy to worry and stress over things in our lives. Constantly wondering what, how, when... but the constant stress can wear on you, especially when it's for things that are out of your control.
