Today our Powerlifting Squad started their final three week block before we test them out to see where everyone is at. We are looking at some of the team hitting a meet in July and some in November. Today they hit Floor Press as their main movement up to a heavy set of 3. The assistance work they hit was chest supported rows, bb standing presses, swimmers row and band pressdowns followed.
As far as my workouts are going I would have to say slow and steady. Biggest thing for me is rest and recovery between sets. Reps are all low as I don't want to push the envelope. I am starting to gain some weight back hovering around 270lbs. Goal is is to be 285lbs before the heart transplant and have my body built up as much as possible so another decline won't be so severe.
