Today our powerlifting crew hit speed squats against bands using an opposite stance of what they normally squat. Short rest periods and heavier band tension made it a tough day. I have some doing box squats for most of this training cycle as they have some knee issues. Afte that's they hit steric hold hyped, heavy step ups, and a couple other lower body movements to compliment their training session. At the end they hit the "jump machine" for extra work conditioning. The jump machine is one of our tools we use to get after it, very tough.
As far as for my self I hit deadlifts off 1 mat. I only do singles as I get really dizzy with this movement. I didn't have time to do much after as my class was getting close to starting. Plan on doing some stuff between my Eve class.
