My hips, knees and feet were killing me after this.  They ached all night.  That tells me what I've known about my body for a long time.  Mobility work hurts me, physically.  When I don't do it I feel great.  When I do it, it hurts.

Tuesday

  • FBB Press 95x5, 115x5, 3x5@135
  • Pull-ups 10x5

Wednesday

  • Split Squat 5x5 each
  • Pull-ups 5x5
  • GHR 5x10

I'm getting ready to get my last lift in before spring break.  I'm not beach ready, unless I'm going for the albino beached whale look - then I'm killing it!

The time out of the gym is welcome.  I've been going strong since I came back from eye surgery in December.  I believe I'm on week 14 or 15 with good consistency - at least 3 days per week.  It's time for a rest.

My mother and sister joined a gym and have been hitting it for about 3 months so I'll probably venture in and help Momma Rhodes out with some stuff to make sure she's hitting a good, balanced program.  My sister kills it pretty well with her own plan.  But, I'll probably do a little something there, but it won't be anything of note if it happens.

One thing I've noticed is that my training has been very consistent, as I mentioned.  No interruptions.  Only a few times where I had to push a day back in order to get it in.

I have 5 bags of protein that I have yet to open that I've had for 2 months.  I should probably drink a shake or 2 everyday.  I'm on a very consistent 2 meals per day.  Bodyweight is sitting around 275lbs.  I've topped out at 280 and bottomed out at 272, so it's consistent.  As you can see, I'm pretty dialed in.  Nothing I'm doing is spectacular, it's just average and it's working wonders.

I'm looking forward to continuing my average training after break.  I'm reaping tremendous rewards.  Wish I had this mentality when I was powerlifting.  I might not be so beat up now.
