I competed in NPC Junior Nationals on June 12-13. I came in with a much bigger and leaner package than years past. Moving into the off season I will be working on my raw strength and putting on size in my upper body. Competition plans are still to be determined with the possibility of some powerlifting in the late fall. I will continue to work with Amit Sapir on my off-season dieting, gradually increasing food and working to put on some good muscle.  Scott Paltos will be doing my training, reworking some strength work in with some volume work for the added muscle during the rebound dieting phase.

Decent training day. Quiet. Put on my resting bitch face. Some dude asked if I had chalk and I pointed and snarled.  Then these knuckleheads in the rack by where I was pulling were loud and obnoxious and completely annoying..  It was in that moment I knew I should've pulled in the back room.  I was at the gym later than normal, so all the toolboxes were out in full force.

Note to self: do not train after 4pm.

Other than being completely annoyed, it was a good day. Squats were decent. Felt a tad off, but I think it's the bar placement.  I'm not as strong with a high bar placement, but too low and I pitch forward just a hair.  My down sets felt amazing though.  It's getting there. Just sucks not having a training partner in person to cue and spot.

But my leggings rocked as usual.
