I got in some very solid training.
On the way up my truck was giving me issues. Similar issues that I had back in the fall. Took it to the shop in Ohio, got it fixed and 20 minutes into my ride home it started all over again. Anyone that knows me, knows I don't deal with this stuff. Once I have 2 problems I don't wait for a 3rd. So, yesterday I bought a new truck. Mine was 8 years old. Treated me VERY well. I'll miss the old pig, but I'm quite happy with the new one. I upgraded from a 2008 F-150 XLT to a 2013 F-150 FX4. Navy Blue to Ruby Red. It'll take me the life of my truck to figure out all the fancy stuff this thing can do. Until then, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it.
A paid off truck is a wonderful thing. I think I have to make 1 payment then I'm going to pay mine off. I don't like car payments over my head. It'll hurt, but I want it taken care of.
I'm very happy with the FX4. One of the reasons I didn't go for a Dodge is the space. The way they have their seats set up my left shoulder is constantly hitting the door. My mom had a 1500 and just bought a new Lariat. She's contemplating going back to Dodge. I'd take her truck in a heartbeat. The 2015 Lariat is LOADED! Not that mine isn't, but wow!
