If you follow me on social media you will have already seen this, although I have added some due to the IG character limit.

Stem cell therapy is something I’ve been very interested in since first reading about it. Up until more recently people had to travel outside of the country in order to receive the therapy Intravenously/via infusion (which is what I needed to treat my autoimmune issues), but thankfully after some research, I was able to find a reputable clinic in nearby Vero that was willing to perform the procedure.

To briefly explain my situation, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis around 5 years ago. My digestive issues improved on some of the meds, but either due to the progression of the autoimmune disease or side effects from the meds, I ended up with far worse symptoms including a fatty liver, heart failure, psoriasis, dangerously low white and red blood cell counts and the worst of which (at least for my lifestyle) chronic joint pain.

Because of this I haven’t been myself. I’ve lost strength, size, motivation, and have been in almost constant pain, but have done my best to trudge along as if nothing was wrong. Owning a gym while dealing with this makes it that much more difficult. It’s also hard to explain something that isn’t visible. I know there are many of you who can relate to this for many reasons. If there was something I could do to change my circumstances I was determined to find it and I hope that I can help some of you in the process.

I had numerous failures with meds for my autoimmune issues (many of which made me worse), so I decided to explore alternative options. The research seemed to show that stem cell therapy was worth the expense with very little risk. Our bodies have the capability of healing themselves. Capitalizing on this makes much more sense to me than being dependent on meds that just mask the symptoms but never heal the issue. It’s also obvious that big pharma profits off of treating, not curing. I realized that if I continued down the path I was on I would continue to go nowhere. So, this past Monday, I took a chance and had an infusion of 90 million umbilical cord stem cells at the Rejuva Stem Cell Clinic in Vero Beach (the stem cells are donated at birth from healthy mothers) as well another 30 million into my right shoulder which has no cartilage left from years of wear and tear as well as damage that I believe was caused by my autoimmune issues attacking my joints.

Dr. David Capaldi performed the procedure. Dr. Capaldi was chosen to be the Keynote Speaker at the 2nd Global Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, and Stem Cell Conference being held this month in Amsterdam, so I’m in good, well educated hands.

My plan is to document this journey on my IG story with monthly updates on my progress that I’ll post on here as well. If you have autoimmune issues, blood issues or joint issues I strongly recommend looking into stem cell therapy. Stem cells have the potential to help these issues and much more. I feel that Stem Cells are the future of healing, if the FDA will allow for it.

From what I’ve read it usually takes three weeks for patients to notice improvements, but my psoriasis has already completely disappeared, so it’s working. The stem cells continue to replicate endlessly, so this should be a one shot deal, literally.
