I'm all over the place right now.  I have nothing pressing that is a concern with my training or progress and everything is going quite well but ... a bit mundane.  Instead, I will just whine and complain a little bit this week.

 

I am curious how the person that scheduled the World Series knew my workout schedule for the week and somehow was able to schedule almost all of the games on days I workout?  NOT COOL.  The only game I didn't have to tape and watch at 2am (when I should have been working) was the game on Sunday night during the Cowboys game.  Now, I'm no diehard football fan but ... scheduling Game 5 on Sunday night at 6pm Mountain Time?  Damn.

 

Schedule for this week?  I don't train today (Monday) so I hope they schedule Game 6 tonight.  NOPE.  I train Tuesday and Wednesday so ... guess when Game 6 and Game 7 is?  You would be correct.  *sigh*  So, now I have to go to the gym, avoid every TV in the place to not see the score and not go anywhere near social media until I can get home and watch the taped version at midnight or so.  Last time I added a 3 hour extension to the taping so I wouldn't miss a potential extra inning situation and the extension didn't add for some reason.  Can you imagine?  If I could just train earlier in the day that would be awesomer.  Yes, I said awesomer.

I know I said it last week but I will say it again:  I hate training on the weekends.  I am training on Saturdays right now to have more time to get more work done on Mondays without having to rush to the gym after not finishing everything I need to get done on the first day of the week.  It is AWESOME on Monday but by Saturday - when it is unseasonably warm and beautiful here - it blows.  The weekends are for family and friends with the exception of a bit of client work mid-day Saturdays so that everyone is set for the weekend and the following week.  I work my ass off all week so that I can spend the weekends off the computer and with family and friends as much as possible.  I MIGHT train Saturdays through November due to Thanksgiving but that is going to be about the extent of it.  It will be back to M-F very soon.

 

Halloween candy.  I have eaten more Heath Bars in 2 days than I eat in 365.  I am miserable and I feel like a dog that has eaten too much chocolate because it doesn't sit well with me.  I don't eat it because it is awesome (though it does taste good); I eat it because there is so much of it and it is just SITTING THERE waiting to be eaten.
