Monday

  • Cambered FBB Bench (extended ROM): 95/105/115/125/135x5
  • Pull-ups: 5x5
  • FSL (BB Bench): 5x10@95
  • Pull-ups: 5x5
  • Lateral and Rear Lateral Raises: 2x25 each

Feeling frisky on Monday.  I was able to use the Cambered Bar right side up (?) for a bigger range of motion.  I won't do this often, but it felt really good.  Then, after winning the first battle, I was an idiot and fought a second battle choosing to do my FSL work with a regular bar.  No issues.  Again, won't be a habit.

Wednesday

  • SSB Box Squat: 245/270/295x5
  • Cambered FBB Incline (2): 5x10@95-135
  • KB Row: 5x10
  • FSL: 5x5@245
  • Cambered FBB: 5x10@135
  • Hammer Row: 5x10

This was a lot of work for me.

Friday

  • Trap Bar: 250/285/320x5
  • Cambered FBB: 5x10@95-135
  • Hammer Row: 5x10
  • FSL: 5x5@250
  • FBB JM Press: 5x10
  • DB Curls: 5x10

I don't know what else to call what I did other than a JM Press.  I started by dropping my elbows towards my hips (like a press) at the same time bringing the bar back towards my chin (like an extension) and then combo pressing/extending it back up.

Felt good, but I don't know how long my elbows will last.  I'll enjoy it while I can.

This was my last full week of training before heading up to Jim's on Thursday.  I'll train Monday and Tuesday, but I won't go very heavy.  I'll push the Prowler at least twice so I'm up to speed for the challenge.  The lifting part of this NOV, for me, is still up in the air.  I don't really know what I'm going to do.  If I were a betting man I'd say I'm probably just going to get a lift in and be good with that.

Experimenting with some different timing of sets with my own training is leading to some good stuff with the football, and basketball teams.  I'm getting what I want for everyone - more muscle mass.

It's been a productive training cycle.
