Just getting back into the swing of things at the clinic after 10 days in beautiful North Carolina. I was able to get in some decent training at a golds gym in Asheville NC, which was a far step from the small mountain gym that we usually go to. On our way back we were able to stop off at The Factory Gym in Louisville KY to get some good training in. We decided to train Shoulders as it would be the least draining prior to the second half of a 9.5 hour drive.

Anyways, lately i have been placing “rehab” mvovemetns at the end  of supersets, tri-sets or quad sets to see the effectiveness of rehab movements in a pre-fatigued state. General principle says that this would be a bad idea because of the possible use of other muscle groups to compensate. However, if the exercise is simple enough and can be performed without compensation it may lead to improved function when not in a fatigued state. The jury is still out on this but i will continue to test on my self before moving to clinic tests.

The video below is of a final tri-set from training at the factory gym. This was part of the “metabolic portion:” of our training for the day.

Also, is a pic of my current progress with my body recomp. Sitting at 235 and changing weekly so things are feeling good.
