“Vacation’s when you go somewhere… and you don’t ever come back.”

As much as I may want this quote from one of my favorite movies, Forest Gump, to be true, unfortunately it is not. We all have to return to our every day lives at some point.

Every year Trinity and I go to Anna Maria island on the west coast. It's just a little over a two our drive from Orlando, everyone seems laid back there, the water is clear, and for a few days there are truly no worries. Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there this time so we didn’t get to experience the beach and water as much as we would have liked. Either way, it was still a nice break from reality.

We still managed to get a kayak trip in. This pic is from the top of the tower in Robinson Preserve.
