So I have a goal. To deadlift 750 before 2017 gets here. Then I knocked off the beginning of December with a health flare up that took over 20 lbs off of my body in 1 day. My energy still isn't coming back 2 weeks later and my legs just feel heavy and dry. This means I'm getting desperate.

On this given day I had taken my IV out of my arm to get to the gym and then done a long ACTIVE warm up, Super Yoke, Atlas Stones, and Log Press with Chains! Time to load the deadlift bar and completely psycho!

So I cranked up the ACDC, hit the nose torque, and went to town...or did I?

Sometimes it isn't how prepared you are but how you react when things go wrong as well as the difference between your "wrong" and "terribly wrong".

After pulling on a misloaded bar I went right to the side that needed a plate, added it and a collar, and went back to pulling. Did I keep my composure? Watch and see?

And then those freaky isometric deadlifts can purely kill a brother! The music stopped being audible and my extremities had began to twitch. Fun times!

But...I'm back one step closer to having that shot at pulling 750 before 2017 rolls around.
