Ok folks.  We all know where social media has taken training and the sport of powerlifting.  Yes, it's different than 20 years ago.  Back then  (yes I'm old) we just trained. Our training partners cued and corrected us and maybe we got a GoPro set up to capture a few things.

Now, we have every set displayed for the world to see - which has it's pros and cons of course.  As a coach for the past 2 decades, my eye immediately goes to movement and body mechanics every time I see a lifter's videos.  It's just what I do.

So what's the goal of this new series?

My goal is to take the things I see - some big, some small - and give the masses some cues, corrections and tips. For the first one, we are picking out just ONE aspect of the sumo deadlift and making it better.

Watch below as I go through the cues "knees out" vs. "spread the floor."
