As I write this I am 7 days out from Record Breakers. At this point in time, all the work is done and the last week is just about keeping things moving and feeling good before meet day. For me, that means I will be training 3x  a week at around 50-60% of my comp lifts and some blood flow work. If I was a bigger and stronger guy like my training partner Shawn Doyle I would pretty much take the whole week off because he needs that much rest. If it was a smaller lifter or a female lifter the week looks different they do better lifting a bit heavier closer to the meet so they may hit their openers on Mon and easing it down the other days. The point is don't fall in love with a certain protocol for everyone. Know the lifter and their recovery abilities to make the plan accordingly for that individual.
