The reason his training differs from most of the workouts you see on elitefts.com is because Brian is a strongman competitor. While he does have some impressive powerlifting numbers in the gym, he hasn’t done a powerlifting meet.

His background in martial arts and MMA as well as counter-terrorism work that didn’t give him a lot of time to train “messed” up his training system (his words, not ours) into something that no one else does. But he’s applied his programming to his athletes with great success.
